Welcome to Mothercare Doula Services!  My name is Jacquelin Green and I am a DONA Trained Birth Doula in Victoria, BC.  I believe that birth is an amazing and transformational experience in the life of a woman and her family.

I want every woman to feel supported during this special time, and believe each woman should have access to a trained labour support professional to support her during pregnancy, birth and the transition to motherhood, if that is her wish.

I provide caring, nurturing support for pregnant women and their families - it is a gift to be invited to join you on this very important journey to parenthood, and my goal is to help you have the safe, healthy and positive birth experience that you want.

I work with you and your health care professional ( midwife or doctor) whether your birth is at home or in hospital.  My job is to provide continuous caring support for the labouring mom through the birth process, and in the transition to new motherhood. I also help dads, partners and other family members understand the process of labour and birth, so that they , too can provide the best support for the labouring mom.
